Oral and Poster Presentation:

We kindly request all the participants, who wish to present papers, to select "Oral" or "Poster" during their abstract submission. However, the final decision for Oral presentation remains with the organizing committee members due to limitations in the number of oral presentations. In such a case, papers which are not selected for Oral presentations will be asked to convert to Poster presentation. We appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

The official language of the conference is English.

Benefits for an IS3NA Member

All participants are encouraged to become a member of International Society on Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids by enrolling at http://www.is3na.org/.  The dues per two years are US $ 50.00 (or 44 EUR) for Regular Members and US $ 25.00 (or 23 EUR) for Students.  The enrollment provides to claim special registration fees for the members.

 

Proceedings of the Roundtable

Contributions will be published in a Special Issue in Nucleic Acids Research, Symposium Series. Authors are requested to send electronic PDF file (Click and See “Registration”). Please use an MS Word template downloadable from the official site and convert the document to PDF file. (NOTE: Please embed the fonts in the PDF file, and never use any Japanese fonts in the text.)

Insurance:

The organizing committee does not accept any liability for personal injury sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to participants, either during or as a result of the conference. Please make your own arrangements for health and travel insurance.

 

Award:

Travel Awards

Travel Awards will be available for encouraging students to attend and present a presentation in the Joint Symposium of the 18th International Roundtable on Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids and the 35th International Symposium on Nucleic Acids Chemistry. We will reimburse 70,000 JPY per person (30 persons only) for the costs associated with travel. To be eligible for the award, an individual must be a student enrolled at an accredited university and currently pursuing doctoral course degree. Applicants are requested to register for the Travel Awards at the conference registration homepage by clicking the "Travel Awards" button. The selection will be based on the contents of the presented abstract. Successful applicants will be notified and are requested to bring documents stating their studentship and travel (Student ID card, Letter from the School Dean, Travel Documents etc).

*To apply travel awards, please click the "My Account Page" in the Top page of the conference web-site to go to the Registration, and select "the Travel Awards button" located in the registration page.

 

Poster Awards

Awards carrying a prize money of 50,000 JPY will be given to the best posters presented during the conference. All individuals who present a poster are eligible for the award. These awards will be judged on the recommendations of the Awards Committee members who visit the poster presentations.

 

Important notice with regard to Poster awards:

The winners of the poster awards will be announced on September 12th around 16:40 during the poster award celebration. To claim the prize money, the presenting author or one of the co-authors of the poster presentation must be present during the poster award celebration. In case of absence during the announcement, the award will be passed on to the next winner.
